About Me
Ah, the age old question of “Who am I?” and “Why I am here.” The quick version is this: I am a thirty something fat chick coping with a balance problem who digs numbers, photography, running and dog sports of all sorts.
I am that crazy busy chick you know that is always going a million miles and hour in at least five different directions. I live life to the fullest and love a good challenge. But somewhere in my adventures, I forgot to take care of me so in January of 2011, I decided to make a change. I originally set out to lose the weight I had gained over the years and find a healthier and fit me. Along the way I rediscovered a love for running, developed a passion for cooking and battled a few of my own demons. A year and 80 lbs lost later, I am fiercely determined to tackle new challenges, like a 50K race and baking drool worthy cupcakes from scratch. Oh yeah, and losing the next 40 lbs. Thanks for stopping by!
Awesome goals! And congrats for everything you’ve accomplished.
Wow, congrats on all your successes! 🙂 I’d love to complete a 50 mile race as well some day (but not any time soon haha).
And by 50 mile I mean 50k. This is what I get for reading blogs right after I first wake up. 😛
Go, you! Ah, youth. You’re a smart woman; it took me another 20 years to go from being the same sort of person to a complete hot mess to think, “Gee, maybe exercise *would* be a good idea.”
Good for you! Nice progress towards your goals. Enjoyed reading your blog also.
